Site preparation and land development
Complete site preparation for new construction, additions, redevelopment and property improvements. Includes clearing, stripping, excavation and preparation of the site for the next phase of construction.
Basement and foundation excavation
Excavation for new basements, foundations, additions and underpinning projects. Work is completed with consideration for existing structures, access, site conditions and required excavation depths.
Trenching and utility excavation
Excavation for water, sewer, drainage, electrical, gas and other underground services. Trenches are excavated and prepared to meet project requirements.
Grading and drainage
Precision grading to establish proper elevations, slopes, drainage and site contours. Includes preparation for foundations, driveways, parking areas, landscaping and other finished surfaces.
Site cleanup and material removal
Removal of excess soil, construction debris, concrete and other unwanted materials from the site. Materials are sorted, loaded and hauled away as required.
Rock and challenging excavation
Excavation in difficult ground conditions, including rock, compacted materials, restricted-access areas and challenging sites. Specialized equipment and methods can be used where required.
Demolition and excavation
Excavation following demolition to prepare the property for its next stage of construction. Superior Group can coordinate demolition, removal, excavation and site preparation under one contractor.
Final excavation and site preparation
Preparation of the site for foundations, concrete, landscaping, paving, utilities or other construction activities. Final elevations and site conditions are reviewed to ensure the area is ready for the next trade.
Tight access is not a problem
Compact machines work downtown streets and residential side yards where larger outfits cannot fit. Trenching along foundation walls, digging to grade, and loading spoil for haul-off all happen in the space that is actually available.
Residential excavation
Side-yard digs next to existing houses, final grade on residential lots, and armour stone retaining walls to hold the grade where the lot demands it.
Commercial sites
Grading and site work on commercial properties, from a dealership lot to an institutional site, with the machine sized to the space and the schedule.
